HOYa DE LA MORA & PRADOLLANO

HOYA DE LA MORA / PRADOLLANO

We will be staying in the area of Hoya de la Mora, above the village of Pradollano, on the nights of 25th and 26th of October.

Again, in order to ensure you have the best experience possible, please, familiarise yourself with the different accommodation options, their characteristics and location in relation to both Hoya de La Mora (where we will spend most of the day time) as well as the “Zona Media” of the village (where we will come down to party at night)! Hoya de la Mora is the area above Pradollano village, where public roads end and the main ski slope area starts, although there shouldn't be snow when we are there.... but we can't guarantee the weather! Please, read our “Pradollano/Hoya de la Mora” section for information and get in touch if you have any questions - we promise to get back to you!

Albergue Universitario Sierra Nevada (Hoya de la Mora)

The Albergue Universitario is the only accommodation option available for the area of Hoya de la Mora, where most daytime activities are available and the best walks start from - this is also one of the most beautiful views you´ll see in our journey as it sits at 2,500m altitude! Access to the highest peaks are from here (3,482m), too! Accommodation at the Albergue costs a 50€ flat rate per person, per night, regardless of room type, with breakfast and dinner included every day (half pension). This is the best option if you don't mind shared bathrooms (male/female independently). Though dinner is not “a la carte”, there will be space to accommodate your dietary requirements, as long as you inform them at the time of booking. Although the rooms are simple, the rest of the building is beautifully decorated in a rustic, mountain style displaying a lovely, big fireplace in the living room area and boasting gorgeous views from the dining room. There is also a bar on site and we are reserving our very best DJ Sun set session for the outside terrace!!

Currently, we have one last double room available and there is still one quadruple room, 5 six bed rooms and 1 nine bed  dormitory. You can either book whole rooms (by taking over all the beds in that room) or you can just book a single bed and you will be placed on a 4, 6 or 9 bed room. You can request to stay in the same room as other members you may know. We will update availability on this page as it changes.

Bookings are not available online and have to be done directly with the Albergue so if you are interested in staying there, send us an email to moutainbass.ad@gmail.com with the name(s) and room size requested, or number of beds, so we can add you to the list and organise payment. (Please, see note below!)*

* Please note, we are not business intermediaries and we do not have a direct commercial relationship with the Albergue, neither do we get paid or rewarded in any way to pass on bookings to them. All we do, solely for the purpose of the Albergue´s convenience and to avoid paying a higher rate as a large group of people, is to gather a list of members who want to stay there and we pass on your payment directly to them. The Albergue is responsible in its entirety to provide you with the accommodation and its associated conditions. Feel free to send un an email with further questions!

PRADOLLANO

Partner's Apartment

One of our partners has the following Air BnB available for 150€/night for 6 people. You can use the link to check out the apartment but if you wish to book it, you need to deal directly with them so email us and we'll send you their direct contact! See here!

Other Air BnB's

During this time of the year, all available accommodation in Pradollano are apartments or privately rented rooms and Air BnBs. You can find a variety of choices in both www.booking.com as well as the Air BnB website (we recommend the first for pricing). The village of Pradollano is fairly small but what you don't see on the map is how steep it is! It is divided between “Zona Baja” (lower area), “Zona Media” (middle area) and “Zona Alta” (upper area). Though there are more restaurants and bars at the lower area, many will be closed during this time of the year so it´s not the busiest of places (don't worry, a few will still be open so you can both eat and drink and we're sure to keep you busy in this part of the journey!). Please, see our “Pradollano” section for maps and information!
